University Information Services
Image: Tell UIS about your experiences using our online collaboration services

University Information Services (UIS) needs a thorough understanding of what you need from collaboration tools and how you will use them to support your daily activities. This is crucial to helping us select and develop an appropriate range of tools and ensuring that you know how to make the best use of them.

General feedback about your remote collaboration experiences so far

Now that people are relying on online collaboration tools to support their remote working there has been a lot of discussion in various online fora about your experiences and challenges. We want to collate feedback to help us ensure the services we provide for you meet the University’s diverse needs.

Please help us understand what you are trying to achieve and how the online collaboration services UIS provides can be enhanced to support you by email to this dedicated email address:

Use this address for:

  • Feedback about Teams and the other online collaboration services UIS provides

  • Tell us about your experiences using remote collaboration services, which services you are using and why you have chosen them

  • Telling us about any needs you have that are not currently being met by the tools we provide

Please note that this email address is a one-way channel to provide feedback to our project teams. We will not be able to reply individually to your emails.

Your contributions will feed into our ongoing requirements gathering exercise and help to inform future decisions we make about the online collaboration services we provide. All feedback will be considered, however we may not be able to address every issue raised.

Submitting specific feature requests

There is a form for submitting feature requests in a more structured way than by emailing the general feedback address above. Please use this form to request a feature or functionality which you would like to use to collaborate with others online. All requests will be considered, however we may not be able to address every issue raised:

Please don’t use the new feedback email to seek help – all technical support requests should be sent to the UIS Service Desk via the self-service IT Support Portal.
