I haven’t had my welcome email...

If you haven’t received your welcome email by mid-September:

  1. Read the Student Registry FAQs, then if necessary
  2. Contact the Student Registry

Help! I forgot my password...

If you forget your initial password, just repeat the 'Get your Cambridge login' process to find it again.

If you created your UIS Password in Step 3 and set up self-service password recovery, you can use the UIS Password Management site to retrieve it. If you didn't, wait until you get to College and ask your IT staff for a Password Reset Token.

Do I have to bring my own computer?

Most students choose to, but you don’t have to. There are shared computing facilites (Windows, Mac and Linux) available around the University.

What other IT services can I use?

The University's IT Service Catalogue lists all the IT services you can get at Cambridge.

I need help with assistive tech...
