When you arrive, you will need to get your CRSid and a Temporary Password that lets you set up your Raven password so you can access your @cam email and other secure resources.

  1. Go to the Jackdaw website:
  2. Fill in your Name, Date of Birth and Code.
    Click Search.


  3. If the details are correct, click Next.
    (If the information is not yours, close your browser window and email the User Administration team at


  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking Yes.


  5. Write down your CRSid, email address and temporary password – you will need this in the next step.


  6. Now you can visit the password management site, select 'Log in using Raven' and log in with your temporary password. You can then set your own password and set up your self-service password recovery information in case you forget it.

DS-Print: Resolved - difficulties purchasing Common Balance credit

The problem affecting users topping up their Common Balance for DS-Print using eCredit has been fixed by our external payment provider. Affected users should now be able to add credit to their account and no longer receive an error message after submitting their credit/debit card details.
