From Monday, 6 October, you will find service alerts on the IT self-service portal.
Our old in-house IT Service Status (ITSS) system is being decommissioned. It will stop sending email/SMS alerts to people who had subscribed. To continue receiving alerts via email, you can subscribe again in the self-service portal.
Where to find service status information in the IT self-service portal
- The public portal homepage shows any current alerts above the search bar
- The Service Status page shows the statuses of 'Critical' and 'Important' tier services
- The individual service description pages show their status
What’s different
- We have chosen to feature only 'Critical' and 'Important' services tiers on the Service Status page to avoid overwhelm
- Opt-in alerts are now email only, delivered to your [CRSid]@cam.ac.uk address
- RSS feeds from the old ITSS service will stop working on web pages and digital signage.
