How to get your Exchange Online email

There are two ways to access your new Exchange Online mailbox:

A. Use the Outlook Web Access (OWA) client by logging in to your Microsoft – University of Cambridge account at:

https://portal.office365.com

B. Configure your preferred email client (e.g. Windows Mail, Apple Mail, Evolution, Outlook and Thunderbird* etc.). Set-up wizards and help sheets are available to help you do this on your desktop and mobile devices.

*Note: Thunderbird requires a paid-for third party plug-in to sync with Exchange Online. This currently costs $10/year to license, which you must fund yourself if you want to continue to use Thunderbird. We recommend Evolution as a very similar free alternative for Linux users of Thunderbird.
