What happened

Yesterday morning (Monday 7 September) staff received an email from no-reply[@]metacompliance.com asking them to complete a cyber security training course.

This message was sent to staff in error. It was intended for students and included a link to the students’ cyber security training course. To be clear, this was not a malicious email but was sent in error.

What staff should do

Staff should ignore this email and delete it. No harm has been done, however, if they had already clicked the link and completed the student course.

Staff will receive their personal link to the staff training course when their annual course becomes due.

When will your staff training be due?

Anyone can check when their training is due by signing-in into the MyCompliance e-learning platform and checking your course status. Instructions are on our Cyber security training course on MyCompliance webpage.

Thank you to everyone who has questioned this email. It is always better to check the veracity of emails. We apologise for any inconvenience and confusion caused by this error.
