An increasing number of apps are now only being offered through the University's new AppsAnywhere virtual desktop service that runs on Citrix Workspace.

How do I access the AppsAnywere service on MCS computers?

  1. Select Citrix Workspace from the Start menu
  2. Log in with your MCS Username and Raven password.

Software made available via AppsAnywhere can be accessed from any device attached to the internet by visiting


If, after logging in, you fail to see any apps or desktops you will need to request access from the  asking for access to the Citrix Student Managed Desktop.

We need to delete old , unsupported media file s from the University’s Streaming Media Service (SMS ) because the system is approaching its max i m um stor a ge capacity . The o riginal high -quality ‘master’ copies will be retained. D eleting old files will allow adequate space for users to add new uploads and ensure the service continues to run smoothly.
