We have received several reports of University staff receiving phishing emails from someone pretending to be a colleague, often a senior staff member who is away from Cambridge and urgently needs help with a money transfer or purchasing gift vouchers.
They often come from icloud.com or gmail.com email accounts and begin with an “Are you busy?” enquiry.
We ask that you please ignore these messages and complete our new cyber security awareness training for staff.
