Microsoft Office includes proofing tools (typically a spelling and grammar-checker) for one main language and two or more "companion" languages which are commonly also used by people who work in the main language. Unfortunately this means the additional language tools may not be the ones you want, and it is not possible to specify alternate ones at the time of purchase.
If you find that your copy of MS Office does not include the alternate-language proofing tools you need you can check whether these are available for free download or purchase via the Microsoft website.
If you need to install the software on a departmental machine we suggest that you read through the website and make a note of what you need before either contacting your local computer officer to install one of the free packages or purchasing one or more language packs via the UIS online ordering system.
