Calendar issues

I’ve migrated but others in my team haven’t. How do I share my calendar?

  1. Log into portal.office.com with your University of Cambridge Microsoft Office 365 account.
  2. Select the Calendar tile.
  3. Select Share. A new window will appear.
  4. Under Send a sharing invitation in email, type the email address of the person you want to be able to see your Calendar.
  5. Click Save.
  6. An email will be sent to the recipient's address, inviting them to view your Calendar.

Why have I lost some of my delegated permissions?

If your email was on an older version (2007) of Exchange OnPremise, you may find that some of the permissions you previously had, or had granted, might need to be re-added. If this happens, please check that these permissions are still on your email and, if they are not, re-add them. This should resolve the issue.

Can I see the calendars of people who haven't migrated?

We're investigating this requirement as we know it's important for people to be able to do this. We will keep this FAQ up-to-date as we progress with our investigations.

Why are recurring meetings disappearing from my Apple Calendar?

Unfortunately, Apple's native Calendar application doesn't recognise individual meetings when they are part of a series of recurring meetings owned by an Exchange Online calendar. This means that if you decline one meeting in the series, the whole series will be declined and disappear from your Apple Calendar.
