Windows DS-Print Setup Utility

Help with troubleshooting problems when installing the Windows DS-Print setup utility.

Utility self-diagnostics

DS-Print setup utility includes self-diagnostics within the setup utility. The diagnostic suite of tests includes (but is not limited to) network connectivity, guest authentication to DS-Print service, Windows print related services and tasks running at the time of performing the self-diagnosis. The purpose of diagnostic tests is to establish likelihood of successful installation of print queue (and associated print driver) and pre-configured print client (provided by PaperCut) on the computer running the DS-Print setup utility. Diagnostic tests are performed every time the DS-Print setup utility is executed, only on computers passing all tests will the utility continue to the next stage: installation of the DS-Print service. Otherwise, computers in a failed state display results with further instructions to email these results to for further investigation and response.
