DS-Print setup utility includes self-diagnostics within the setup utility. The diagnostic suite of tests includes (but is not limited to) network connectivity, guest authentication to DS-Print service, Windows print related services and tasks running at the time of performing the self-diagnosis. The purpose of diagnostic tests is to establish likelihood of successful installation of print queue (and associated print driver) and pre-configured print client (provided by PaperCut) on the computer running the DS-Print setup utility. Diagnostic tests are performed every time the DS-Print setup utility is executed, only on computers passing all tests will the utility continue to the next stage: installation of the DS-Print service. Otherwise, computers in a failed state display results with further instructions to email these results to email@example.com for further investigation and response.

Cause: This can be caused by local firewall software installed on your computer (such as ZoneAlarm).
Resolution: Please ensure that your firewall allows access to the following IP address ranges.
- 172.16.3.0 - 172.16.3.255
- 220.127.116.11 - 18.104.22.168
'InternetOpenUrl failed' error
Cause: It would appear your computer has no network connectivity.
Resolution: Ensure your computer has a network connection, if necessary please contact your local Computer Officer for further assistance.
